This interactive Google docs is created by Joey Feith, an elementary physical education teacher in Montreal. He built this document to encourage families to rebuild healthy family routines during this pandemic. These slides include at-home lesson plans and a variety of online resources that parents can use to help kids have fun, be active, and stay busy while they work from home.

Active Home is an open resource where you not only find great ideas about at-home movement opportunities in a variety of instructional formats, you can also find meaningful activities such as meditation, journaling that promote spiritual and socioemotional learning in children and young adolescents. Recent posts are updated to give advice on physical activities that families can do together while practicing social distancing.

A balanced and holistically nutritious diet is essential for our physical functioning. Getting children to help in the kitchen not only keeps them being active around the house, it also provides opportunities for teaching them to make healthy choices. Food Network has an extensive recipes database, which makes trying to find that one recipe you can make with your kids not very hard. The site is also loaded with thousands of articles and episodes on so many different topics all revolving around food.
